We were seated quickly, the staff were friendly and helpful. Pretty sure the owner came by several times to check on us. The Mac and cheese was phenomenal!!

I went yesterday on Christmas Day. The service was great, but the food had no taste. I got the fettuccine and got it with chicken. It tasted like I was eating plain noodles. The sause had no taste. I had to put pepper on it just to make it have some flavor and then it just tasted like pepper. The person I went with got the spaghetti and meatballs and also said that it was very bland. I would not recommend this place.

Great for families and date night alike. Relaxed atmosphere - cozy and with booths that offer privacy. Kid-friendly. During happy hour (3-6pm), it's easy to get dinner for $6/person, drinks for $4/each, and dessert for $5. The house red wine is good. I come weekly with my three year-old for "date night" because he loves it. We arrive during happy hour and tend to swing two (tasty) dinners, a glass of wine (that's just for me), and a dessert (we share) all for about $25 including tip! Both the food and service are great.

Amazing service and the chicken marsala with Portobello mushrooms was incredible! Overall amazing experience having dinner there.

One of my favorite places in the metro. Legit sports bar, music playing, Tvs everywhere. Their employees are all extremely friendly, and most of all their food is tasty. Here's one for the Reuben fans. If you go in the morning they make a really good bloody.

Tracy (blonde) was absolutely rude, asked if we were ready and then walked away when we said yes ha. Didn’t offer the options mentioned in the menu and then got snotty when we asked for some fries. Owner came out and was nice but stood up for her and her entitled attitude, never came back out to the table and talked openly about us with inside tables as they stared at us and we continued to sit without a server. Poor service at best, the sushi place next door looks great!

Absolutely wonderful food and service every single time we stop in.

Recommended by a local, we went and it was great. I had a burger and added a ton of toppings. My wife said the french dip sandwich had some good beef on it :)

Food here is always good. The owner and staff are great and greet everyone. They also serve local wines and beer which is great.

This is always a solid place for a burger or sandwich Can't remember bartenders name but if he's working service is great. If not it is average at best

Came in with family of 9 and was buying everyone's meal. 4 generations, ages 10-87 and 7 have birthdays within a few weeks of eachother so there to celebrate. Food was good, but not sure if the waitress was just having a bad day, was new or what. Nothing bad, just not very engaging or attentive. Gave her a 25% tip and hope it lifted her spirit a bit.

Amazing service, very friendly. I was delivering for postmates tonight, but I will be back for myself very soon. Keep it up J Willies.

Wasted my time and money by taking an outrageous amount of time to complete order. It took me 10-15 mins to get there after order was placed and still wasn’t done after waiting for 15-20 more. As an Uber driver you wasted so much of my time which means I’m not getting payed what I should be from now on not accepting any orders from here

Sitting outside right now while I’m waiting for traffic to ease up , completely enjoying my meal. The Mac and cheese with bacon was AMAZING!! Thank your server who recommended this item. Service was also great! By the way the servers name was Michael.

Continues to be the Best pizza ever. Love the Willamette pizza with kalamata olives, fresh basil and tomatoes. Thin crisp crust that is wonderful. Traditional combination pizza, none of that bs so many other places serve as pizzaFriendly service Warm atmosphere to relax with friends The only way they could have improved the pizza is to have a wood fired ovens

Excellent, enthusiastic service. He stepped behind the bar to take his time explaining the extensive menu. I ordered the corned beef sandwich. Plenty of shredded corned beef on dark rye. I requested Swiss cheese. The side is sweet potato fries was a very large serving. Both came piping hot. My accompanied patron ordered the Mahi Mahi fish and chips. Three large pieces of lightly battered fresh fish came with a side of sweet potato fries. A real hit with us both. There were five side options with each entree order. For dessert I chose the berry cobbler. It came topped with two scoops of ice cream. I especially liked that the cobbler was not too sugary sweet. A real plus. All in all a real home run.

It was a great place for a first date, good food nice atmosphere great staff made it a good time.

Very friendly service. The food was very mild, but well prepared and a nice portion size. The mildness was great for my 4-year-old. He's pretty picky, but was able to fine something he liked on the menu. The mules are great! We tried the Irish Mule and Juniper Mule. I'll go back just for the drinks if nothing else.

J Willys was an awesome place for my uncle Tim's get together for family and friends. One of his favorite watering holes. Thank you so much it was great.

Great food!! Prices are great!! Food is fresh. Service is amazing. I could go on and on. Go try it you will be hooked. Everyone I take there is. Enjoy great food great atmosphere!!!

Spent a delightful evening here with one of my close friends. I broke the parmesan cheese shaker as I was trying to be helpful and split apart some tables and they were totally cool about it. A warm summer evening - perfect setting. Everything was delicious. I'll take oyster shooters any time I can get them and these were so good! Caprese salad, spinach dip and creme brulee for dinner. I have lived in Portland a long time and had no idea this adorable little area existed. SO fun.

This is a favorite spot of ours. The food is great (parmesan chicken on anything is heavenly...also love the pizza, taco salad, onion pedals and the Reuben) but the service is the real difference maker. Belly up to the bar and visit with Paul and Brian. Shayla is wonderful, and the owner, Jeff, makes you feel right at home. I give this place a five star review because a six star was not an option.
